Valentine’s Day Mailbox
I took this all the way back to grade school! Ah, remember the good old days? When decorating an old shoe box with construction paper hearts was the pinnacle of craftiness?! & anxiously awaiting that one special Valentine card from that oh-so-special person? I digress. However, I wanted to bring some of that fun to this anniversary.

His very own "you've got mail!" - mailbox!

I picked up a paper mache mailbox from Hobby Lobby and decorated it with black and white strips of paper. I weaved the four varying prints and used double stick tape to secure them in place. I found a deep red cardstock paper to cover the raw edges, trim and flag. For the envelope I printed out (in black and white) a vintage envelope image and placed a paper heart, cut from the same deep red paper as the trim, smack-dab in the middle of the envelope!
Ta-da! <3
This year’s theme:

Correction! I did pin this to a secret board in November, however, I have had this pinned to one of my public boards for almost nine months!!
Thank goodness for time-stamps!
I've been collecting these cards for quite some time. I happened to wonder across this article and I have quietly kept it hidden from the hubs and secretly worked to print and create unique cards and envelopes for months.
