DIY Leather Diffuser Ring
Hi all! Just wanted to add a quick post about a tiny DIY. I have been in search of a diffuser ring for some time and I just couldn't find anything I loved. I searched Etsy and found some interesting rings with pieces of leather inside of a deep setting. Since I couldn't find anything I liked, I thought I would make my own! I have an old, wonky, silver ring that was gifted to me a very long time ago. It has a deep/hollow setting with a large Amber stone. Once I broke through that tough little stone, I cut out one piece of suede and one piece of textured leather and glued them into the setting.
Since this was a random, spur-of-the-moment, project, I don't have any photos of the ring before or during the demolition process. I wasn't sure would even work!
The ring's setting is handmade with raw edges and the band is attached with bar hinges. It looks very similar to the photo below, only, very obviously handmade, hence the "wonky" description.

I have really taken a liking to the raw/uneven edges now that I am wearing this is as a diffuser ring, it feels handcrafted and rustic.
Just add a few drops of Lavender Essential Oil and be calm all day long :p
