Lantern Keepsake

My little sister has had the wedding of her dreams and has closed on her first home!

I thought this would be a great opportunity to use her dried bridesmaids bouquets, that I have so lovingly stored at my house, to make a keepsake! She used rose-gold lanterns with floral arrangements as her centerpieces, so I thought a lantern would make the perfect housing. I found a beautifully distressed lantern and began meticulously separating the dried bouquets.

After re-arranging the brittle beauties, I tied the stems together with raffia ribbon and carefully placed the newly formed bouquet inside the lantern!

I didn't have to do much else to make this bouquet stand up, the tight squeeze worked in my favor. Lastly, I placed her beautiful "something old" dove pin into the raffia ribbon. I hope she likes it!
