My sister is expecting!
I am so thankful to have a hand in picking a party theme. Happily, we decided on a celestial celebration! Her invites were a moon phase delight, decor will be stars and twinkle lights, the backdrop is an enchanting night sky and all that was left was the parting favors. After some searching I happened upon chocolate covered Oreos.
Simple and easily customizable.
For this project you will need:
Oreo sized molds
Edible Gold Leaf
& Oreos, of course!
Melt the candy melts according to their instructions.
Add food dye to achieve your desired colors (I used a considerable amount of black to the navy candy melts to create a midnight blue).
I used a spoon to drizzle white candy melt onto the mold, then covered with the midnight blue.
Place the Oreo firmly into the mold and fill the remaining space with more candy melt.
Jiggle the molds and wipe the excess. Refrigerate until they have hardened.
Once set, I decorated them with edible gold leaf.
All that was left was to bag and tag these sweet goodies!
